This is truely a super Tuscan. Selvole is probably the oldest settlement in the Chianti Classico area, dating back to Etruscan times. Since the middle ages grapes have been cultivated. Today only the BEST handpicked grapes are used to produce this wine. This superb Classico has been aged for a minimum of 12 months in French Oak Barriques. To enhance the Bigness of this wine it has NOT been filtered, open the bottle one hour before drinking. You will enjoy one of the Bst Chianti has to offer. Serve at room temperature.
