"This admirable effort builds incrementally in the mouth with a cunning display of power that is not initially evident. At first, the wine seems subtle and elegant, but then, wow! The length, impressive purity, and layers of concentrated fruit build upwards like a skyscraper. There is sweet tannin as well as copious quantities of glycerin, concentrated creme de cassis fruit intermixed with minerals, smoke, and earth.
