Devon Cellars Merlot

Washington Merlot, with its cherry flavors and heady aromas, tends to be more full-bodied, moderately tannic and slightly higher in alcohol than its Bordeaux cousins. They are known for sweet berry flavors and complex aromas that include mint, cigar box, and sweet spices, like nutmeg and cardamom. Our friends from Kiona Vinyards released the 1997 vintage to us (after being oak aged) under the Devon label and it captures the characteristics above with power and depth.
