Fabulae Dolcetto D' Alba Campo Del Pero

Another wonderful wine from our friends at Girabaldi! Dolcetto means "Little sweet one" and for ages the wine has been valued for its wonderful fruity flavors and 'sweetness' although the juice is identical in sugar and acidity to others in the region. It's nose has highlights of mature fruit such as cherries and blackberries. It is structured in the mouth and softly wraps the sweet notes of fruits like raspberry and billberry. The low yield of the vine and the scrupulous attention during the wine process chatacterize the Dolcetto and allow it to be drunk immediately or in a few years.
