Gonnheimer Spatburgunder Auslese Trocken Barrique

This is one really unique and amazing wine from the Eymann Weingut, know for award-winning wines of all types. This is a 'blanc des noir' .. a white wine made from red grapes, in this case Pinot noir. Not only that but it is an Auslese (a dry one), meaning that the Pinot noir was extremely ripe and flavorful at the time of harvest. The wine was then aged in oak barriques. Nobody in the world would ever think this is a German wine.
