Merryvale - Carneros Chardonnay

This Chardonnay was carefully crafted from the cool Carneros viticulture area. This was the first time Merryvale worked with grapes from the Sangiacomo Vineyards which is on the Sonoma side of Carneros. We found this Chardonnay to really fat and oaky, but more vanillin than wood. It is a big wine with a round, long finish.
