"The 1999, an 8,000-case blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, is a delicate, elegant, restrained, polite effort with pretty red and black currant flavors intermixed with licorice, soil overtones, and subtle spicy oak. It is neither big nor flamboyant. This is a polished, exceptionally refined offering, particularly for a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
